Nepal Journey to Source:
Rolwaling Valley

October 5 to 19, 2026
Online sessions from September through November

REQUEST TO BOOK

We walk in the footsteps of the mystics and sages before us through the hidden, sacred valley of Rolwaling at the border with Tibet, to the highest glacial lake in Nepal.

Fritz Lensch and Serena Rix invite you to a three-month journey to source. At its heart is a 15-day pilgrimage in the Himalayas to feel the Spirit of the Land, who we are in essence, with the elements of Nature guiding us to evolve our work in the world.

The mountains, silence, and rhythm of walking strip away what is unnecessary. We work online before and after the pilgrimage to guide you to arrive with deep intent and return with the power and trust to act on what has been discovered in the high places, living it through acts of service, leadership, and a life aligned with purpose.

It's not easy to describe the magic of the sacred forests or the power of the caves, the challenge of the mountain climb, or the wonder of breathtaking views, but I can say that I walk differently in the world now, with something having fundamentally shifted and found its home within me.

This journey has changed my life in depth. I was waiting long for something like this, and it happened to me. Thank you for this.

I came home clearer, lighter, and more rooted in myself. The journey stripped away the noise and reminded me of who I am beneath responsibility, fear, and doubt. I returned with a quieter mind, a steadier heart, and a deeper trust in my own path. It wasn’t just a trip; it was a homecoming to a version of myself I’ve been longing to meet again.

Are you ready?

To say yes to this journey is to say I am ready to dissolve the layers that I’ve built up, to truly listen to what life is asking, and to act on this guidance with a new level of trust. This journey is for:

You feel the call to deeper meaning.

You are open to giving up the reins and receiving the answers rather than chasing them.

You are willing to step into the unknown, face yourself under challenge and fear, and pierce through the veil.

You are ready to transform your work and contribution to the world.

You have a meditation practice and are committed to walking the talk.

Itinerary

We will be guided by the land through thick forests, enormous waterfalls and sacred rock formations. We will meditate in nature, feeling the footsteps of the mystics and sages who have gone before us. The physical effort will be a teaching in itself, demanding full presence and bringing us into our bodies. The group will be our support and encouragement to go deeper.
We return the same way, yet all will be different.

  • Our journey begins at home, long before our pilgrimage in the Himalayas. We will gather as a group online on three dates before and two after the pilgrimage, plus two one-on-one sessions, to build the energy, trust, and clarity needed to step into the unknown.

Once we land in Kathmandu on October 5, we will have a day to prepare, as a group and one-on-one, before we head out to the entrance of Rolwaling Valley. After driving to the village of Chhetchhet, we walk up to Simigaon, where we rest for the night. From there, we walk along the Rolwaling river, passing the villages of Dongang, Beding, and Naa, all the way up to the highest glacial lake in Nepal, Tso Rolpa at 4540m.

We plan our return to Kathmandu on October 17, where we will have a day to rest and integrate. Departure anytime on October 19, or stay for some additional days in Kathmandu we can organize with you.

  • General good health and the ability to walk up and down the mountains for around 6 hours on some of the days, up to 4500m in altitude, are required.

  • In Kathmandu, we have comfortable single or double rooms. In Rolwaling valley, accommodation is very basic, twin share, with shared bathrooms, bucket showers, no cell or wifi, and no heating in bedrooms.

  • During the pilgrimage, participants agree:

    • Not to use recreational drugs, alcohol, or mind-altering substances

    • To eat vegetarian food, minimize caffeine, smoking, and phone use.

    • That phones will be switched off for 10 days in Rolwaling valley.
