Be careful to distinguish between nature and the city. You escape or avoid one for the other as a reaction, to feel safer. But you are taking the other with you wherever you go. It is part of you, as you are part of it. Resisting this denies your innate ability to engage with it, which brings about conflict and illness, as you are out of touch with this part of you.
That ability comes forth with your willingness, and care, to look and see nature in the city and the city in nature, psychologically speaking.
It requires utter stillness and your full attention, which are an expression of love.
