Unoccupied and creative
In a culture of occupation it’s a challenge to remain unoccupied. But that’s where creation happens. What I mean by occupation is not just a job, but the constant stimulation of your mind. You don’t stop once you get started until you burn out. And trust me, the world is burning because of that. True creativity, as in creating something new, can only break through like a ray of sunshine when the clouds of occupation pass. Your life’s work can be ready in one moment.
Leisure time is the new cool because insight comes not when you’re busy thinking about it. It arrives in unexpected moments. As consciousness falls away you become available to life, which gives you all the answers.
Immersed in thoughts, you can only draw from patterns of the past. But when you transcend consciousness and dive below conscious experience, new jewels can be found. This is the key to innovation and all kinds of insight. It comes naturally when you play with children for example, or take a walk.
Let go of every object in your mind and fully give yourself over to the moment, without interpreting it. This is like falling asleep. It cannot be done at will since your experience would remain conscious. The treasure is hidden safely from malicious intent.
It will come to you at the right time. Transpersonal Development is preparing you for that moment. I wrote about it in The Development Matrix.
