Movement Meditation
3, 10 ,17 ,24 September
8 October
19:30 to 20:30 at Anna Mora Studio Amsterdam
We tend to move either mindlessly, on automatic mode, or by instruction, following a concept or choreography. Rarely do we pay attention ourselves and let movement emerge naturally–moving exactly what is needed or wants to be expressed. This is a skill that can honed.
In Movement Meditation, we come into stillness through guided meditations and silence–not through a technique but by meeting ourselves where we are. From there, we move slowly and without any pressure or imposition, feeling not just the bones, tissues and muscles, but also our energy change and transform. -
