Who am I and what do I want?

Yesterday was the first session of our new series on Intuition. Preparing the series, I could see that my own understanding of intuition has been rather shallow. I looked at it as a useful skill, one I did not always trust.

I relied mostly on intellect and strategic choices for ‘success,’ and felt intuition could be used in certain moments of comfort, like on a walk through the park.

Little did I know how limited and locked in my mind was with this belief. I was speaking the made-up language we call the intellect, not acknowledging that there was an entirely different way to relate to the world.

I found that Intuition is the language of Earth. Nature speaks not through nouns but verbs, constant movement in stillness. Trees, birds, and all their friends evolve in harmony through speaking the language of intuition.

This is somewhat obvious when written out, but it came as a revelation for me!

I wasn’t speaking the same language as Earth… So how could I be of service – and create anything meaningful – for some’thing’ that I hadn’t fully understood?

Earth had been speaking to me, providing wisdom, but I wasn’t always listening. So my questions often ended up in more confusion than clarity:

Who am I?

What do I want?

What is my work?

Who do I want to be with?

What is my purpose?

Now I understand in a more complete way how to ‘answer’ these questions: by feeling/perceiving.

This is not a mental or emotional exercise, but tuning into a felt sense of truth in the body. The body is made of Earth, so it’s our natural compass. Intellectual or emotional answers keep us going on a never-ending cycle. To complete with the question, feel/perceive, and the answer will always be new and insightful.

Here’s my offering for September:

I have two one-on-one coaching spots available from mid-September. Together, we review your history, see your present, and feel your future by learning to feel the answers to your questions: getting clear on what’s important and true to you.

My approach integrates our 5 disciplines of health and well-being: physical, emotional, mental, energetical, and spiritual. We meet every other week for 50 minutes over an initial period of three months, with field work to complete in between.

Email back to inquire, or directly schedule a short call.

We have one final spot on our pilgrimage in the Himalayas in November, to the border of Nepal and Tibet. We discover and study the language of Earth on this journey, building the courage to follow our feeling, even when it means walking into the unknown. See more info, and email back for registration.

Wishing you a wonderful autumn season.

Fritz
